NEVER BE SCAMMED AGAIN >by spelllock.com
Recently, we posted an article on xanga.com/spelllock about scams and some quick tips to avoid them. We all know that there are scams and real sites. It's just about finding and sorting through the sites to find the dirt truth.
Some spell casters choose to publically voice their opinions. Aisha Haadi takes this route with her blogging. She allows people to view and review for themselves. I find this a very good method...and Applaud her for her efforts to find the scum and save people the time and money. She's not forcing a sale or anything of the sort. She's good in my book. Some people use horrid names and violent statements to seek out scam artists...or non-scam artists. Anything of aggressive behavior not well planned or thought out leads to nothing but disaster, which of course solves nothing. Consumers need to realize it is their own mind that holds the key to discovering a scam versus someone who truly cares about them.
Upon messaging www.templeatlantis.com, we received a very generic message in reply. This is never a good sign. Are they a scam? Who knows. We receive a lot of messages ourselves. Although it may take us a little longer to get back to people, we ALWAYS reply with a personalized, well thought out response. Perhaps good advice would be, rather than say " www.templeatlantis.com your a COMPLETE SCAM and waste of money! or templeatlantis.com you're the devil and you do us no good! you stole my money and ran, you are fake and a scam! " ...you should simply ask them to be a little more personable with you if they want your business. It's a simple task really. Some may just drop their site altogether from the start. Others might give them a chance. I've heard success stories from ALL sites, including ours (obviously - since I work for ours), but I have also heard horror stories from all sites. Yes, this includes us. Why do i disclose this? Because we have nothing to hide of course! We work with people who are not satisfied. Sometimes (although EXTREMELY rare), things do take more time than we may have anticipated...which is why we try and work with our clients side by side. When this happens, you are taken care of. Period. Which brings me to my next point...
Sites that just DROP OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH AFTER YOU PAY THEM! Gosh, nothing makes us more angry than lack of communication. Everyday I hear stories where Some site took money and now they are no where to be found. Should you run off and immediately say the site is a scam? Maybe. Maybe not. Common sense is a must. Is this normal? Is this within character? Maybe you're going to spam, or bulk? Maybe you're not getting to the caster...who knows. But one thing is for sure. In the case where the site refuses to reply...that's no good for anyone. Communication is a must. If you find that communication is a problem from the start, suggest something to the caster if you truly want to work with them. Do not just let it float until things get really rocky after you've paid. Go with your heart.
Final tip for now...
Your heart. If you FEEL an ache, and are extremely nervous about doing something...Don't Do It!...how many times can i say that? How many times can I copy and paste? Would myspace's blogging system restrict my characters...get the picture? If you're not comfortable with the caster and their ways, their personality and words...DO NOT PAY THEM FOR THEIR TIME! I promise that you will be saving both of you a miserable experience. Trust is important. I know, i know it's hard when everyone wants to be paid up front. It's just the nature of the business...but you have to use your heart. This + common sense will help you battle all evil!
...upon searching, here are some sites that came up immediately as a "scam" on google. Some of these may be a scam, some may not. I'm just trying to help sort through things by reminding people to use some key tips and common sense before purchasing. I wouldn't say Do not purchase from them. In fact, maybe you owe it to them to give them a chance. It's just, approach EVERY site with caution at all times. Get to know your site...and select what is best for you. Different sites have different bonuses. For instance...with our site you get a client login ...where you can check updates and more inside info after you are a member. Calastrology.com, for instance, offers money back guarantees. Some say that they scam you out of it, and never honor the guarantee. This is called the "calastrology.com scam" but...I have heard plenty of GOOD Things about the folks there. The point is, never judge a book by it's cover. you can't just hop on google, and find everything there is to know about a business. There's a lot of circumstantial stuff, a lot of bogus stuff, a lot of people pushing others around, and of course a lot of nonesense. Some people are actually (really) crazy and will say anything about anyone. You just have to go with your heart and try and find good people to help you. That's what it's about...friendship.
